This EP/IX operating system is based on UNIX Operating System V Release 4 (SVR4). The bulletin compares the two systems and outlines their differences and similarities. This site provides instructions on EP/IX installation, preparation, comply errors, reconfig files, file service for password and group, remote tape installation, compatibility, preserved files, and upgrading. New features of the latest release (EP/IX 2.1.1AC) are detailed as well as an archive of EP/IX release notes. EP/IX is currently available on CD-ROM.
